Uses

The 113 Plumbers Putty by Everbuild is a high-quality, high-performance product that is perfect for Tradespeople or D.I.Yers who are working on plumbing projects. This ready-mixed, easy-to-apply formula is ideal for sealing and bedding soil pipes and joints in sanitary wear, sinks and wastewater fittings. It's formulated to retain elastic properties while impervious to water, making it ideal for long-lasting applications. Surfaces that this product can fill include;

• Ceramics
• Vitreous enamels
• Metals
• PVC

Preparation

Before commencing the application, prepare the area by cleaning surfaces and removing debris, dust, etc, that can interfere with this product's adhesion.

Application

Sealing - Centralise spigot with untarred hemp. Pack void with the plumber's putty and finish with a putting knife.

Bedding - Place the plumber's putty into the seating recess and offer up the second component. Trim as required; in all cases, clean up surfaces by rubbing with separate pieces of plumber's putty.

Limitations and Notes

• If you're bedding sink/vanity units, etc, always finish and seal with Everflex Silicone 500
• This product should not be applied when surface or ambient temperature is below 5°C
