Uses

The Genius Gun Plasterboard Adhesive by Soudal is forged to provide effective adhesive. It is stored in a small and economical 600ml aerosol can with a unique Genius Gun attachment, which allows the user to apply the adhesive directly from the can. The patented Genius Gun head by Soudal enables multiple uses, with it viable for up to 6 weeks after its first use. This adhesive is suitable for horizontal and vertical use, with its superior bonding strength holding insulation boards effortlessly.

Preparation

Before commencing the application, you should prepare the surface to ensure the optimal adhesive is achieved. Start by removing any dirt, dust, grease, oil, talcum, organic growth, etc. If any bubbles, cement slurries and sinter layers are present, you must remove them before starting the application.

Application

  1. Equip protective goggles and gloves and shake the can thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.
  2. Open the cover, folding the tube perpendicular to the aerosol can
  3. As you proceed with completing the application, regularly shake the can, ensuring its composite is constantly mixed
  4. Apply the adhesive to one of the panels you intend to bond
  5. Bring the surfaces together and apply pressure, allowing the adhesive to cure and bond the surfaces

Limitations and Notes

  • After using the product, you must ensure that the valve is cleared of all foam and cleaned to make it reusable.
