Uses
The Advanced Patio and Block Paving Cleaner by Thompson's is formulated with a unique composition, comprising 2% w/w benzalkonium chloride (20g/l) and surface active agents as a solution in water. This composition allows thorough protection on the surface, providing resistance to various weathering, such as a freeze-thaw cycle, which, over time, can cause damage. The surfaces that this product is suitable for application on include;

Preparation
- Prepare the surface correctly. Complete this using a bristle brush, brushing over the surface and removing any dirt and dust.
- Application
- Pour the cleaner onto the surface and thoroughly scrub the area with a stiff bristle brush.
- Leave it for 15 minutes, and then give it another thorough scrub.
- Hose down and wash off the suds.
- Leave to dry, and this will take around 30 minutes.
- Maintain your patio and repeat this process after six months to prevent organic growth.
Limitations
- This product may change the colour and appearance of your patio; test it in an inconspicuous area before completing the entire project.
- Ingrained stains may not wholly vanish after application; if so, use a dedicated heavy-duty cleaner.
- Avoid spilling this product into surrounding vegetation and take care when wet, as this product is slippery when wet.
