Lead R
Lead R is a high-performance, BBA certified smooth lead replacement that mimicks traditional lead whilst maintaining long term durability and performance. Unlike real lead flashing, it has no resale value, therefore, preventing theft.
Lead R comes in smooth and textured options and in sizes of 150mm, 300mm, 450mm, and 600mm. It is grey in colour.

As mentioned above, Lead R has zero re-sale value meaning the worry of having your roof vandalised is far less. Moreover, it’s a cost-efficient product in comparison to traditional lead and is durable. It is also easy to install, cut, repairable, and very lightweight.
Application of Lead R
There are many types of applications for Lead R including abutments, chimneys, dormers, saddles, soakers, stepped, valleys, windows, rooflights, valleys, and gutters.
Installation
As a lead alternative product, it can easily be installed using a knife or scissors to cut. Furthermore, it can be installed and worked in any direction using a mallet, roller or by hand. Determine the final installation of EasyLead R or EasyLead R Smooth maintaining the release film until achieved, once satisfied remove the release film and press the material to the brickwork or applicable surface. Joints should have a minimum overlap of 100mm. To achieve permanent adhesion, the building material surface has to be clean and dry. A bituminous primer is recommended for unstable material surfaces.
