Danish Oil
Danish Oil is a nourishing, durable protection for wood, delivering a finish to the surface that typically has a low sheen. Popular amongst the whole world and originating from the Scandinavian region, Danish Oil took a surge during the 20th century.
Why use Danish Oil?
It effectively protects and nourishes wooden surfaces from the inside, penetrating the surface and treating the wood fibres, enhancing their natural beauty. They typically deliver a natural, low-sheen finish for the wood, which is becoming increasingly popular. It can be applied easily to the surface using a cotton cloth or brush, with a composite that contains, on average, two-thirds oil and one-third varnish. The wood’s protection from the oil includes excellent resistance to stains, bumps and scratches.
