Corrugated Fibreglass Sheets
Fibreglass is made of a plastic that has been combined with glass fibres. The result – sometimes called GRP, or glass reinforced plastic, is impressively durable and waterproof with many applications. Corrugated roofing sheets made out of fibreglass are high-grade. Like all corrugated sheets, the wrinkles prevent capillary action from acting on the water, forcing all the water to flow down the sheet.
The transparency of corrugated fibreglass sheets is high enough to allow some light to pass through, but low enough to provide some privacy, similar to frosted glass. This makes GRP sheets excellent in places that need some light, such as barns.
The Corrapol-GRP line of fibreglass sheets by Clear Amber are extremely rigid compared to other materials which roofing sheets are usually made out of. They, like the rest of the Corrapol range, benefit from the gargantuan array of Corrapol support products like Rock n’ Lock flashing and Super Ridge.
