Bond It B1 Fire Resistant PU Expanding Foam is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane foam, tested for fire resistance Class B1.

  • B1 Fire Rating according to EN1366‐4+A1:2010 and EN13501‐ 2+A1:2013 and DIN4102.
  • Excellent adhesion to most construction materials

The Bond It B1 Fire Resistant PU Expanding Foam foam is suitable for most common building materials. However, it will not stick to surfaces such as polyethene, silicone, oil, grease and similar substrates. What makes this product stand out is its resistance to fire, with the requirements of construction materials Class B1 Rating in accordance with DIN 4102 part 1. It has the ability to secure rooms from fire and smoke, with this product help isolate any potential fire

Application

Check and prepare all surfaces you plan to use this product, ensuring they are firm, clean, dry and free from dust, grease or other contaminants that may hinder the adhesion.

After it has been checked and cleaned, moisten the area with a spray bottle filled with water.

Foam Gun:

  1. For foam gun use, hold the can upright and screw the foam gun onto the can with the other hand.
  2. Be careful not to over-screw the can or activate the foam valve.
  3. Once it is all connected and you are ready to begin the application, turn the right way up and begin filling from bottom to top.
