Uses
The Bond Aluminium Foil Tape is exceptional for all types of duct, air, and ventilation systems. It offers excellent high-tack, adhering to the surface seamlessly with excellent adhesive performance regardless of the system's temperature. It provides outstanding moisture resistance and is perfect for use between foil-faced insulation panels in roof and wall applications.
Preparation
Before commencing the application, clean the surface, ensuring that all contaminants, including dirt, dust, grease, oil, etc., are removed. After cleaning the surface, it has to be 'bone-dry' for the adhesion to bond correctly.
Application
- Remove the out packaging from the tape
- Peel some of the tape and apply it to the surface
- Continue to unravel the tape whilst simultaneously pressing it into place
- Once you've applied the required amount, cut or tear it with a knife
