Bond It 5 Minute PU Wood Gel is a one-part moisture-cure polyurethane adhesive specially formulated for waterproof bonding. Used in carpentry and joinery to bond staircases, boats, sandwich panels and insulation materials. It's fast setting formula means that this adhesive is also ideal for fixing carpet grippers and stair nosings, areas of which are used frequently.
Conforms to BS EN 204 (Class D4 – strength)
Preparation
Prior to application, ensure surface are clean and dry, free from grease, dirt and any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion.
Application
It is advisable that you wear protective gloves before applying this product.
- Cut the tip of the cartridge, screw on the nozzle and cut to a 45° angle
- Using a sealant gun, apply the adhesive to one of the substrates. If the material is porous you will need to apply adhesive to both surfaces
- Press together immediately, and clamp for at least 1 hour
