A protective coating for new lead which imparts an evenness of colour while its normal patina is being formed. To be applied on day of lead installation.
Patination oil is brilliant for using on lead roofing, flashing and cladding to prevent any white staining from white carbonate forming.
Patination oil should be applied to any new or cleaned lead as soon as possible after laying it, before it has the chance to get wet, this will prevent the white staining from appearing and spreading to brickwork.
This lead patination oil will also give the lead a wonderful uniform colour while it’s natural patina or sheen develops.
