Originating in the Northern Illinois city of Rockford, just 90 miles northwest of Chicago, Ernest Estwing established Estwings Manufacturing Co., Selling to the leading hardware stores, retailers and home centres, equipping Americans with durable, high-quality striking tools.

After years of successful sales, business and growth, Ernest decided to branch the innovative American tools company internationally. To Australia, Europe, Asia, Africa and much more, the demand for Estwing’s tools was felt worldwide.
