Starting in 1924, Owen Aisher founded the Marley Tile Company, starting with just a winget press machine purchased for 27 shillings. After a few years, Owen hired two men to aid in his business, and then he expanded further a decade later by purchasing more equipment.

When the Second World War started, the industry collapsed, and shortly after the war finished, the demand for reconstruction of buildings and new buildings soared. Owen, at this moment, saw the opportunity to expand across the country, opening new factories in Glasgow, Delamere, Bridgend, Ebchester and then finally Beenham.

In 2024, Marley Boast has 100 years of business, expanding to be the most versatile, experienced and efficient roofing material supplier across the country. Marley forged original tile designs, creating interlocking and innovating the roofing sector.
