Eaves Comb Fillers
Eaves comb fillers provide a physical barrier to keep birds and giant insects from entering the void between the felt and tiles. Above the felt, the product runs continuously along the fascia board and is fixed into position using the holes provided.
Our range of comb fillers are easy to fit and come in 1-metre lengths, making your life as a homeowner and roofer easier. The product is made from polypropylene and is suitable for profile tiles.
How to install eave comb fillers?
To properly install eaves comb filler on fascia and make it easy to fix, follow these basic guidelines. It should be suitable to fit onto over fascia vents and/or eaves fascia tray as required. Moreover, they must be of sufficient depth to fill the required tile profile to prevent birds, large insects and vermin from entering the roof space.
Lastly, fillers should be nailed to the top of the fascia board through the fixing holes provided along the full length of the eaves and joined where necessary.
