Aluminium Nails
Steel and copper are stronger metals than aluminium, making them not a prime option for most roofing projects. Nevertheless, some roofers still use aluminium nails on asphalt shingle roofs. Nails made of aluminium are more prone to corrosion, chemical and salt damage than nails made of steel thus we’d highly recommend looking at alternatives for longer-lasting projects.
