What type of nails do roofers use?
There are various types of roofing nails roofers use including smooth shank nails, ring shank nails and square caps. Typically, the nails are made out of copper, aluminium and steel materials. We’d only recommend using corrosion-free nails for a roofing project, no matter how small or big it is.
