Uses

The Bond It Lightweight Render Mesh - 50m x 1m offers incredible strength when embedded into wet base coat renders. The product is light, alkali resistant and tear-resistant; it stabilises surfaces and prevents cracking with an easy-to-use application.

This product functions as a reinforcement of waterproof membrane, felt and similar roofing materials. You can use the lightweight mesh in conjunction with tile adhesive to distribute stress with ceramic, marble and stone tiles. Additionally, the mesh can be used with floor coverings to maintain stability and durability.

Application

Apply an even background coat of render and place the mesh into the wet render, lightly pressing it with a trowel to completely cover the mesh. Overlapping the joints by a minimum of 5cm is suggested to secure the application; once it's placed, make sure you trowel over the mash to give the required finish.
