Bond It's B3 Fill And Fix Expanding Foam Aerosol is a one-component polyurethane assembly foam, it is based on a moisture-curing polyurethane prepolymer. This product's foam does not shrink after curing, ensuring the risk of future deformation of joints and separation from the surface is kept to a minimum.
This product is compatible to be used most common building materials like wood, plaster, metal, stone, concrete, PVC and polystyrene. This product, however, doesn't stick to surfaces like polyethene, Teflon, silicone, oil, grease and similar substrates.
It is perfect to be applied the frames of doors and windows, filling holes and insulating penetration in areas. Other applications include sealing thermal acoustic insulation boards, connecting joints, and reducing the impact of thermal bridges.
Application
Prepare the areas that are going to be bonded. They must be firm, clean, dry and free from dust, grease or contaminants that can hinder adhesion. After that, get a spray bottle of water and spray area, ensuring it's well-moistened to encourage bonding.
Straw Application: Hold the can in an upright position, screw the straw into the hole, making sure it securely attached.
When you're ready to begin application, turn the can upside down and begin to spray, working from the bottom to top
Note that the fresh foam will expand by 1½ to 2 times.
