This High Gloss Block Sealer has a multitude of reasons why it's perfect for enhancing and protecting your surfaces, with its ability to resist numerous weather conditions and unwanted substances are unmatched. This product delivers long-lasting protection and resistance, this product has the ability to defend surfaces for at least two years under normal weather conditions.
Application
Before application, surfaces must be prepared, complete this by; cleaning away all dirt, oil, grease, dust and any other contaminants that may be present; this does include jointing sand residue. Organic growth should be removed, Mould-Stop is an excellent product by Bond It that helps kill the growth and prevent it from returning for months.
Ensure that the jointing sand contains no moisture and that you allow 8 weeks if you have recently installed pavement and sealing.Â
Do not apply this product below 5°C or above 30°C
- Apply the first coat with a brush, roller or squeegee and leave until touch dry, this can take between 4-12 hours, depending on the weather.
- Apply a second coat to the surface in the same manner as the previous one and leave to cure fully.
You may have to apply additional coats, this depends on how porous the surface is. To know whether or not you need another coat, sprinkle some water with a rose head watering can, if the water sits on top in beads, then you do not need another coat, if its sinks into the pavement, then you do.
