This Indian Stone Sealer by Bond It protects patios and natural stone from water ingress and oil stains. This product is highly effective for protecting patios from cooking fat spills and barbecue splashes. It does not affect the colour or appearance of the application surface.
Preparation
Prior to application, remove all organc growth, weeds and lichens. You may want to use a commercial weed killer or mould remover to ensure the surface is free from contaminants. Once all dirt and debris has been washed away, you will need to wait for the surface to dry before applying the Indian Stone Sealer, this will make sure that the surface conditions are optimal for application.
If the intended application area is new, please read the safety data sheet alongside the technical data sheet to fully understand the application; there are limitations with this product on new unweathered areas.
The ideal application temperature is between 5°C and 30°C, if the conditions are colder and more humid, this will result in a slower drying time.
Application
- Shake well before use, it doesn't need diluting
- Apply a single coat using either roller, squeegee or brush, ensuring no pooling or ponding occurs
- Allow 3-4 hours of drying time before trafficking the area
Limitations
- Keep children and pets away from treated areas until fully cured
- Do not apply to wet surfaces or in conditions of high humidity
- Do not use when rain is forecast
- Do not allow any run off to contaminat drains, waterways or plants
