Surface Preparation
- Proper surface preparation is essential to achieve strong adhesion and long-term durability.

Ensure the surface is sound, stable, and thoroughly clean.

Remove any loose rust, flaking paint, or debris with a wire brush.

For new galvanised metal, roughen the surface with a wire brush to aid adhesion.

Apply a rust-inhibitive primer (such as red lead or zinc phosphate) to metal surfaces for added protection.

Prime porous surfaces with a suitable bitumen primer before application.

Apply a minimum of two coats using a brush or spray.

Allow each coat to dry for 2–4 hours, depending on weather conditions, before applying the next.
