Everbuild Jetcem Deep Rapid Repair Sand & Cement – 2kg

Uses

The Jetcem Deep by Everbuild is an outstanding, easy-to-mix, easy-to-apply, quick-setting cement that is perfect for repairing holes from 25-150mm. Everbuild technicians formulated this product to enable both tradespeople and D.I.Yers to easily use this product with a simple mixing process of adding water directly, creating a cement paste. Applications this product has been typically used in include;

• Interior and exterior repairs to gaps, cracks, walls and floors
• Repairing flags, stones, slabs and bricks
• Patching steps and window sills
• Pointing stone and brick
• Jointing earthenware drains and pipes
• Repair pools and ponds
• Setting W/C and sinks
• Leak sealing on concrete-based surfaces
• Setting railings and posts.

Preparation

Before commencing the application, ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, and free from contaminants such as dust, dirt, grease, oil, etc, and anything that can interfere with the adhesion.

Application

1. Thoroughly wet surfaces to enhance the adhesion
2. Using a clean vessel, add approx. 3 parts by volume Jetcem powder to 1 part by volume clean cold water and mix it immediately to a smooth, reasonably thick slump free paste.
3. Note that this portion of cement is only workable for 5-10 minutes, so you should press it directly into the hold with a trowel or filling knife.
4. If the product becomes stiff, dispose of it safely, as adding water doesn't improve workability; instead, it weakens the strength.

Limitations and Notes

• This product should not be used for load-bearing applications
• Do not use this product where chemical resistance is required.
• When repairing fishponds, seal repair with a suitable paint before re-stocking
• If you're filling gaps under 25mm, use Jetcem Rapid instead.
