Uses
Overlap & Border Adhesive by Everbuild can adhere all common papers to each other and to gloss and emulsion paints. It contains a powerful fungicide, which prevents any chance of mould growing underneath the paper. One of this product's unique features is its ability to reposition it without damaging the adhesive.
Preparation
Before starting the application, prepare the surface by removing any contaminants that can hinder the adhesion, including dirt, dust or loose flaking materials. Gloss or non-porous surfaces need to be rubbed down to improve adhesion.
Application
For borders:
Cut the border to the required length, and gently score the vinyl wallpaper where the border is to be positioned. If the application is on pre-paste borders, moisten before applying adhesive. Spread the adhesive over the border, ensuring even coverage, and use a sponge or cloth to smooth it down. Avoid contact with the printed side of the wallpaper; if contact occurs, use a damp cloth to remove it.
For overlap repairs:
Apply the adhesive to the fixed substrate, press the overlap piece into position, pressing firmly into place using a brush, and wipe any excess glue with a damp cloth.
