Affective on various surfaces, this product provides an open time of up to 2 hours, preventing adhesive from curing up unexpectedly and being wasted. Preparation
For you to achieve an optimal application, proper preparation is essential. You must clean the surface area, ensuring that it is free from contaminants that can hinder the adhesion of the product. After cleaning the area, it's important that it's thoroughly dried before starting. The optimal environment conditions for the application are 20°C or above, with a relative humidity of 45-55%. If you're bonding plastic laminate/sheeting, it's suggested that substrates are conditioned for 48 hours.
Application
- Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces (Never apply it to polystyrene)
- Bring the surfaces together and hold them in place
- The bond should cure within 3-5 minutes.
Limitations
- Do not apply to areas which are subject to continuous water immersion.
- This product is unsuitable for application on colour-core laminates or translucent/opaque sheeting.
- Not suitable for application on bitumen, asphalt or cellulose-painted surfaces
- You should not apply this product as a mirror adhesive.
- Bonding may struggle at low temperatures due to water moisture building on cold surfaces.
- Not suitable for flexible types of vinyl or PVC; only apply to rigid vinyls.
- As the manufacturers cannot know all the uses their products may be applied to, it is the user's responsibility to determine suitability on surfaces not already mentioned.
