EVO-STIK 528 Instant Contact Adhesive 5L
Complete large bonding projects with confidence using EVO-STIK 528 Instant Contact Adhesive 5L. This professional-grade solvent-based contact adhesive creates an immediate, high-strength bond when two coated surfaces come into contact, making it the ideal choice for workshop production, joinery, shop fitting, furniture manufacture and construction projects. It combines exceptional initial grab with outstanding long-term bond strength to deliver reliable professional results.
Unlike many standard contact adhesives, EVO-STIK 528 offers excellent shear strength and good temperature resistance while maintaining a durable bond under demanding working conditions. As a result, it performs exceptionally well across a wide range of building, fabrication and woodworking applications. Furthermore, the large 5-litre tin provides excellent value for high-volume users and reduces the need for frequent replacement during larger jobs.
Moreover, the ready-to-use formula applies easily with either a brush or serrated spreader. Consequently, users can achieve smooth, even coverage across large panels, laminates and sheet materials. Once both coated surfaces reach the correct tack level, they bond instantly on contact, eliminating lengthy clamping times and helping improve productivity.

Application Advice
Firstly, ensure both bonding surfaces remain clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material. Next, apply an even coat of adhesive to both surfaces using a brush or serrated spreader. Then, allow the adhesive to become touch dry before carefully aligning both surfaces.
Once the adhesive reaches the correct tack level, press both surfaces firmly together using even pressure across the entire bonded area. Since the adhesive bonds immediately on contact, accurate positioning is essential. Afterwards, allow the bond to develop fully over the next 24 to 48 hours. Consequently, you will achieve a durable, professional-quality bond capable of withstanding demanding everyday use.
