Uses
The Gorilla Wood Glue is a powerful, versatile adhesive that's perfect for application to wooden substrates. It provides an unbreakable bond with excellent water resistance, rated to D3. It's applied similarly to a conventional PVA adhesive but instead is formulated with Gorilla's strength. The glue cures into a natural colour, enabling aesthetically pleasing finishes as it blends naturally with the wood.
Preparation
To ensure that you achieve optimal results, you must clean and prepare the surfaces, removing contaminants such as dirt, dust, grease, oil, loose debris, flaking material, etc. After cleaning and removing the impurities from the surface, ensure it's dried and ready for bonding. If the Wood Glue has separated inside the bottle, shake thoroughly to remix the material.
Application
- Apply the glue to the surface generously.
- Bring the surfaces together and hold for at least 20-30 minutes using clamps or weighted objects.
- Any excess glue before it's cured can be removed using a clean, damp cloth; if the glue has cured, you'll need to scrape it off.
