Uses
The Interior Wax by Ronseal is a high-quality wax that allows even the most novice of D.I.Yers to exceed at applying this product due to its easy-to-apply application. It has a unique drying time of only 20 minutes, allowing you to complete all three coats within a couple of hours. Offering a coverage of up to 16m² per litre, you can effectively stain an object with just one 750ml tin.
Preparation
Remove any present old wax, grease or oil using White Spirit and a cloth. After that, you should lightly sand the surface to an even finish using 120-grit sandpaper, wiping away any dust that settles after you've sanded. Leave the surface to dry before waxing.
Application
- Due to the liquidity of the wax, you should thoroughly stir it to even out any lumps that may have built
- Apply the first coat, using a brush stroking in the direction of the grain. Give it 1 hour to fully dry
- For optimal results, apply three coats. Note that the final coat will only take 20 minutes to dry.
Aftercare
Due to the natural diamond-hard nature of the wax, spillages will be hard to clean up but can be done, but only if dealt with immediately.
