Uses
The One Coat Blackboard Paint by Ronseal offers a whole canvas for your children to play with. This product is perfect for children who love to create a mess and play around, as you can now focus that energy onto a giant blackboard, which you can easily wipe down and clean.
Preparation
Ensure the room temperature is above 10°C and open doors and windows for ventilation. Place dust sheets over anything you don't want to spill paint onto accidentally. If the surface is in good condition, give it a light sand using 240 grit paper to help the paint adhesion.
If the paint is flaking or cracking, you must sand it all off using 120-grit sandpaper. You should wear a mask during any sanding process to prevent accidental inhalation of the small particles. If there are any holes or cracks on the surface, fill them with an appropriate filler.
Aftercare
Remove as much paint as possible from any tools used during the application process, washing them using warm, soapy water. Do not empty any leftover paint into drains or watercourses.
