Preparation
It's essential to prepare the surface before commencing the application; if not, you risk not achieving optimal adhesion. Clean all surfaces you intend to bond with this product, removing contaminants such as dirt, oil, dust, grease, etc.
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, making sure you don't damage the threaded screw.
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, with an opening to the desired width and screw it onto the cartridge.
- Insert the cartridge into an applicator tool, point it to the surface you intend to bond, and cover it with a zig-zag line.
- Bring the surfaces together, and you can slightly twist them when placing them together to help disperse the adhesion across the surface, increasing the bond.
Limitations and Notes
- This product can be applied to damp surfaces, but it affects the curing time
- Ensure that at least one surface is porous when bonding.
- When bonding in heavy items or on horizontal application, temporary support is required to ensure an optimal bond
- Mechanical fixings must be used in conjunction when overhead bonding is completed.
- This product is not suitable as a mirror adhesive.
- The dusty surface will require priming before application.
