30 Min D4 Liquid Pu Wood Adhesive Trade by Soudal is a perfect, well-rounded adhesive that enables various applications most other products struggle with. One of these includes the filling characteristic; the foam formation created by this product allows for uneven surfaces to be bonded effectively. This product has fantastic resilience to water, offering applications externally as well as high humidity. This product can bond windows and door frames, including the corner connection.
Preparation
Before commencing the application, prepare the surface by removing any contaminants that can hinder the adhesion. These include dirt, dust, oil, grease and similar impurities. This product doesn't need a primer; however, spraying the surface with a bit of water is suggested. This is due to the adhesive curing when exposed to moisture in the air and will optimise the application.
Application
- Apply the adhesive using a fine-tooth comb or brush, and apply it to one of the materials to be bonded
- Bring the two surfaces together within a maximum of 15 minutes and clamp them down for at least 3 hours
- If you don't clamp it down, you'll risk from poor adhesive results
