Uses
The Repair Express Cement by Soudal is perfect for repairing mineral surfaces that are suffering from cracks, holes and general small damage. This product is forged using a unique, granular structure which has fantastic adhesion to various surfaces, allowing it to fill and bridge gaps effortlessly. Compared to other conventional cement repair products, this one stands out with its ability to be painted, blending it seamlessly into the structure.
Preparation
Before commencing the application, ensure that the surface and gap to be filled are entirely free from contaminants that can hinder the adhesion, such as dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, etc. Highly porous surfaces should be primed to enhance the glue, ensuring an effective and optimal result.
Application
- Apply to the gap using a putty knife.
- If the gap is larger than 5cm, allow the first load to cure and apply a second over. Each layer will take about 30 minutes to cure.
- After finishing the application, smooth it down to a flush finish before it's cured.
Limitations and Notes
- Do not apply this product to areas that are subject to constant water immersion
- This product is not suitable for expansion and dilatation joints
