Uses
The Soudafoam One Shot by Soudal is perfect for use in various areas inside and around a building. It is a self-expanding polyurethane foam that has excellent filling and adhesion characteristics, reaching every corner, crack and crevice. The benefits this expanding foam offers are unmatched, with its insulation value offering excellent acoustic, value and thermal properties.
Preparation
Before commencing the application, prepare the area by ensuring no contaminants, including dirt, dust, grease, oil, loose debris, etc, can interfere with the bonding process.
Application
- Shake the aerosol can thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.
- Insert the adapter into the valve.
- Moisten the application surface.
- Fill the void until 50% is filled, and allow the polyurethane foam to fill the rest.
- If you require applying more than one layer, allow the first to cure and then moisten the surface, subsequently applying the second layer over it.
Limitations and Notes
- To achieve optimal results, you moisten all surfaces you intend to fill.
- This product is designed for single use, 'One Shot', for reusable Soudal products, look for the 'Genius Gun' variation.
