The Pozi Flat Countersunk Wirox Screws by Spax is the an excellent high-quality screw coated with Spax's Wirox formula. At ERoofing we are proud to stock a wide selection of SPAX screw products. The world-famous Pozidriv or Pozi screw design uses a deep eight-pointed star design to secure the drill bit in place for a high level of torque. This tried and tested design has seen heavy use since its invention in 1962.
Whereas some drill bit designs slip out too easily and others can slow down work by being fiddly to extract, Pozidriv screws strike a balance where they don’t ‘cam out’ easily, but also lend themselves to efficient work over long periods of time. These screws are additionally coated in a WIROX coating, a very durable and waterproof coating that is also environmentally friendly.
