Uses
The Zip-Fix Cavity Wall Fixings by Timco are forged with heavy-duty steel coated in zinc, allowing long-lasting application without concerns of rust or corrosion. A unique feature of this product is that it's manufactured to conform to BS7671 standard 18th edition, which means the Wall Fixing has an improbable chance of collapsing prematurely in the event of a fire. Due to its high-quality, heavy-duty composite, it can support between 30Kg and 60Kg depending on the application.
Application
- Drill a 13mm size hole into the substrate with a depth of 50mm
- Ensure the thumb tab is facing upwards, inserting the metal toggle through the hole allowing it to pivots down behind the substrate
- Zip the nylon collar towards the wall, making sure the collar sits into the drilled hole and then snap off the nylon arms
- Insert a M6 screw through the fixture and into the threaded part of Zip-Fix and tighten until it's secure
