Tyvek is a single-sided acrylic tape made by Du Pont. It is made of high-density polyethylene or HDPE, using an acrylic adhesive. As a result is both airtight and waterproof. In particular Tyvek attaches to plastics with an impressively strong bond. Tyvek is also particularly resistant to chemicals.Â
