The Slate Strap, commonly known as 'Tingles' amongst roofers, is a high-quality, quick repair solution for damaged or broken slates on a roof. These achieve a secure fixing by removing the broken or damaged slate from your roof correctly, not damaging the surrounding slates. After removing it, you nail a Slate Strap into the timber batten on the roof, place your slate on top and bend the bottom of the Slate Strap underneath, using a two-fold secure fix. After bending it, you can trim down the length of the second fold, ensuring it's safely holding the slate but also looks visually pleasing.
