Uses
It has excellent water-resisting properties alongside weatherproofing, making it ideal for internal and external applications. It's resistant to extreme temperatures, from as low as -40°C all the way up to +100°C. Compatible for adhering to, including;
- Wood
- Metal
- Glass
- Stone
- Plastics
- Polystyrene
- Concrete
- Tiles
- Mirrors
- Plasterboard
Preparation
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw
- Cut the nozzle at 45° to the desired width and screw it onto the cartridge
- Place the product into a suitable adhesive applicator tool
- Apply parallel beads of adhesive to one of the surfaces and bring them together within 10 minutes of application
- Beads at 5mm are sufficient; for tighter fittings, the bead may be reduced to 3mm
- If the distance between the beads is by at least 200mm, you should apply a perimeter bead for added strength
Limitations and Notes
- Do not apply this product to surfaces contaminated by bitumen
- Uncured product can be used with a cloth dampened in white spirit
- This product will not bond to Polyethylene, Polypropylene or Tefon
- This product is excellent water-resistant but cannot be immersed in water
- If the mirror is backed with a safety film, do not use this product
- If bonding a mirror, ensure it's not a painted surface, as it affects the adhesive strength.
