Roofing Resin
Roofing resin is a product most commonly used in the building or repairing of fibreglass flat roofs, although it can also be used in a similar fashion on pitched roofs. Roofing resin requires care to use as well as protective equipment. Make sure you are fully informed on the installation process and fully equipped before using roofing resin.
What is roofing resin used for?
Roofing resin forms the bottom layer of a fibreglass installation. Traditionally applied over wooden decking, it forms a solid, smooth surface that can then hold GRP matting that forms the main bulk of the fibreglass.
Roofing resin can also be used to patch up areas where fibreglass flat roofs have been damaged.
Generally speaking, GRP roofing resin can last up to 20 years and longer if applied correctly.
