The Chalk by Armatool's intended design is to aid roofers in their tiling application. The way it aids roofers is by applying this product onto the Armatool Chalk Line Tool, stretching the string out over the ridge of the roof so it is tight. Afterwards, you pluck the line, releasing the chalk and leaving a straight, distinctive line.
