Made of a bleeding edge polymer it is nigh unbreakable, 200 times stronger than glass. Instead of being separated into thin layers like most polycarbonate sheets for insulation, it is made of solid panels to optimise for durability.
This resilience makes Axgard very suitable for exterior glazing like bike shelters. 3mm sheets are very versatile, because they are much more flexible. In addition, they are also more cost effective compared to the thicker sheets.
Opal Axgard has a frosted tint that lets around third of all light in but removes the vast majority of visibility. Available in widths ranging from 500mm to 2050mm and lengths from 500mm to 6105mm.
