Uses
The Tarmac Restorer by Bond It is crafted to restore the natural colour to the tarmac, help prevent water from penetrating the surface and stop dirt and grim from building up. The ready-to-use formula doesn't need dilution, making it easy for anybody to use this product effectively, irrespective of their experience.
Preparation
Prepare the surface before application can commence, and complete it by treating it, removing any organic growth, dust, oil and similar impurities that can contaminate and interfere with the Tarmac Restorer. The most effective way to achieve this is by using PATIO BLASTER or MOULD STOP; these products can remove anything present. If you have chosen to do this, you must apply the product, wash it off and wait 48 hours before applying the tarmac restorer.
Application
- This product comes ready-to-use so do not dilute it
- Stir it thoroughly
- Ensure the surface is completely dry
- Apply the tarmac restorer by brush, roller or squeegee, ensuring no pooling or ponding occurs
- Apply two coats, giving around 4 hours between them; however, it may vary due to the weather.
Limitations
Do not apply the product when the surface is damp, nor use it in humid conditions. If rain is forecasted, do not apply this product, as the water will interfere with the restoration. This product will not work on non-porous surfaces and prevent traffic until it has fully cured. Prevent any runoff of this prouct from contaminating drains, waterways, or plants; this product should not be applied below 5°C or above 30°C
