Uses
The Scrim Tape by Bond It, is a lightweight drywall joint tape perfect for joint finishing, crack and hole repair, ideal for drywalls, plaster walls and ceilings.
Preparation
Before the application begins, ensure the surface is clean, dust-free and dry.
Application
- Remove the outer packing from the roll of tape
- Peel the tape, apply it to the area, and unravel it while firmly applying it.
- To cut the tape, use a knife or tear it
Limitation
This product isn't a silicone sealant; instead, it is water-based. Therefore, it isn't suitable;
- To be applied externally during rainy weather,
- If the temperature is below 5°,
- Used on joints constantly submersed in water
- Won't work with bituminous products
- Not great for areas of high abrasion
- Plastic bathtubs should have a more flexible sealer used.
