The Mammoth Multi-Purpose Double-Sided Tape by Everbuild is a fantastic, easy-to-use tape that offers a robust, durable bond. Everbuil's technician crafted this tape with a 0.1mm thickness and glue made from a solvent-based adhesive.
Preparation
It's important to prepare the surface before starting the application. Otherwise, you'll not achieve optimal adhesion and a weak bond; you should clean the surface by removing contaminants on the surface such as dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
Application
- Remove the outer packaging from the product.
- Peel a small amount of tape and place it on the surface.
- Unravel the tape whilst placing it onto the surface in one continuous motion, ensuring you smooth it out and remove any air holes.
- Peel the protective film from the top of the tape and bring the two surfaces together.
Limitations
- This product is not suitable on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers
- Do not apply this onto substrates below 5°C. It will reduce surface tack.
- If applying with an ambient temperature below 5°C, you may experience a weaker bond.
