This WP100 Premium Neutral Cure Oxime Silicone Sealant is perfect to use as a perimeter sealant for external doors and window frames, with properties in its formula that deliver excellent adhesion with a rapid curing rate.
It's perfect to use both interior and exterior with surfaces that are viable for application, including; wood, aluminium and PVCu. This product is weatherproof, sealing the external environment out from the interior. Its flexible factors enable it to be beneficial for infilling panels, building and construction joints and joints between different materials with high movement.
Application
Ensure that you prepare all surfaces before you begin application, this includes removing any contaminants that may hinder adhesion, this includes; dust, oil, grease, debris etc. Once you've removed all unwanted contaminants, make sure you've cleaned and dried the surface.
For joints with lots of movements, it's advised that you fill it up. A great choice is the expanding foam by bond it, alternative you can use a backing tape or rod.
- Apply using a standard applicant gun
- Cut the tip of the cartridge and screw on the nozzle
- Cut the top at 45°
- Once applied, tool down using an applicator tool
Ensure you do not move either surface before the sealant is fully cured; wait 3 hours after application for joints with movement.
