This Anchor Bond Resin is designed to fill in exterior walls with a strong resin that enables things like bolts, studs, starter bars and large screws to go inside the wall at a deep depth without causing harm to the structure. Its exceptional formula works on various surfaces such as; masonry, concrete, brickwork, stone and PFA blocks.

Application

Prepare by drilling a hole to the correct diameter and depth, to understand the size, please view the technical data sheet or look at the image above. Clean the hole and remove all dust and debris using a hand air pump or a stiff rotary brush.

All bars should be clean and free from oil, grease and all flaky rust. Threaded rods or studs should be chisel ended to prevent them from being unscrewed from the resin.

  1. Screw the mixing nozzle onto the cartridge.
  2. Place the anchor bond into the dispensing gun.
  3. Squeeze the trigger until the material passes through the mixing nozzle, and wait until an even colour is obtained (5-6 inches).
  4. Insert the nozzle into the base of the hole and extrude the material, filling half of the hole with resin.
  5. Insert the fixing into the filled hole, slowly rotating to coat the surface thoroughly.
  6. After application, release the pressure from the dispensing gun, remove the used mixing nozzle and wipe away excess materials from the end of the cartridge.
  7. Once the resin is fully cured, the fixture can be attached to the fixing and fully tightened
