Uses
The Patination Oil by Bond It delivers outstanding results on lead, coating it in a protective layer that illuminates the surface and can project your beautiful home.
Preparation
Before application, treat the lead, ensuring it is free from contaminants such as cement, dust and loose debris. Once you've removed everything, ensure the surface is dry.
Application
You should apply the Patination Oil as soon as possible, using it after each step of the lead work. You should not look to leave it for the next day; ensure that no rain hits the surface while applying or waiting for it to dry.
Apply between the temperatures of 5°C and 35°C
- Shake the bottle vigorously for 2 minutes before use and make sure it stays mixed throughout the application
- Apply the oil using a soft, absorbent cloth
- Use a horizontal motion from top to bottom, ensuring there's a wet lower edge. (DO NOT USE CIRCULAR SCRUBBING MOTION)
Limitations
Do not allow this product to touch polycarbonate sheets and bituminous surfaces.
