This Bond It Roof-Mate Roof & Gutter Sealant is ideal for use on metal, construction-grade plastics, paint, stone, brick and bitumen. This polymerically reinforcing lap jointing sealant does maintain a permanently putty-like consistency, this therefore doesn't make it ideal for an area where surface contact is likely.
Application
- Use a sealant gun with a chaulking gun force.
- Cut the nozzle at an angle of 45° and fix it to the gun.
- Apply the sealant to the surface, if the joint is deep, a backing tape should be used
- Once the application is complete, any high spots of material should be feathered smooth to prevent any water from building up
