Colron Refined Danish Oil - 500ml

The Refined Danish Oil by Colron delivers an outstanding finish for your wood, perfect for exterior and interior applications. This oil sinks deep into the wood, offering excellent enrichment for your wood's patina and water protection. When applied correctly, you'll receive a beautiful low-sheen lustre.

Preparation

You can apply this product over previously oiled wood or bare wood; however, it is unsuitable for application over varnished or waxed wood. If the surface has varnishing or wax, you'll need to sand the wood back to bare.

Application

1. Using a lint-free cloth, pour a generous amount of the refined teak oil onto it.
2. Rub the cloth onto the wood, following the wood grain, working it well.
3. If treating bare wood, apply three coats, leaving 6 hours of drying time between coats
4. With the final coat, once it's dried, you can buff the surface with a clean, lint-free cloth to achieve a sheen

Aftercare

After you've finished with the application, please don't waste any of the product down watercourses or drains; you should contact your local authority to find a way to dispose of it safely. Any clothes soiled in the danish oil must be disposed of safely as they're high-flammable due to the oil.
