Preparation

First and foremost, it's essential to thoroughly examine your roof to ensure it's suitable for the Black Bitumen Paint application. To begin, check if the surface is sound, stable, and free from contaminants that could affect adhesion, such as dirt, dust, grease, oil, loose debris, and organic growth.

The most effective way to complete this preparation is by using a stiff brush to sweep across the surface, wiping away any impurities. Additionally, when dealing with organic growth, the best approach is to apply a fungicide directly, allow it to take effect, and then remove the residue. Furthermore, if the surface is highly porous, priming it beforehand is strongly recommended to achieve optimal results.

Application

1. Stir the product before use
2. Apply by brush or airless spray
3. Apply evenly across the surface, ensuring no pooling or ponding occurs
4. Allow the first coat to dry, and once it does, apply the second coat

Optionally, once all coats have dried, you can apply solar reflective paint onto the Black Bitumen Paint, prolonging its and the roof's lifespan.
