Preparation
Before commencing the application, it's of the utmost importance to achieve optimal results by cleaning the surface, ensuring it's free from contaminants that interfere with the adhesion. This includes impurities such as dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, etc. The surface ideally should be dry before starting the application; however, you can apply this product to a damp surface, not wet.
Application
- Using either a stiff brush, squeegee or mop, apply the adhesive to the surface at a rate of 20m²
- Avoid ponding or pooling during this, and ensure you don't apply it too thinly.
- Ensure you don't over-apply the chippings; otherwise, they won't touch the gritting adhesive and fall off.
