Everbuild 202 Integral Liquid Waterproofer Uses
The 202 Integral Liquid Waterproofer by Everbuild is a potent, high-performance composite that provides outstanding water protection for your renders, screed, mortar, and concrete. It's versatile and suitable for application to pools, tank linings, roof areas, external rendering and pointing and any structures below ground level. Everbuild's technicians formulated this product to not 'deaden' or 'flatten' the mix, removing the need for a separating admix. Applications this product is typically applied in include;
- Waterproofing below ground, basements, subfloors etc.
- Waterproofing above ground, concrete, renders, screeds and mortars
- Waterproofing the lining of water tanks, silage pits and ponds
Mixing
When mixing the Everbuild 202 Integral Liquid Waterproofer, you should ensure that you mix it in line with the British Standard 1199.
Below Ground Work
Renders should be created by 3 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement by volume, ensuring you don't apply it to weak backgrounds.
External Waterproofing Renders
External renders should be crafted by 4.5 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement by volume, applying the render at 18 -22mm thick in two coats
Rough Cast Work
The backing should consist of 3 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement by volume.
Swimming Pool Tanks, Etc
This mix should be composed of 3 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement by volume. Applying it at a rate of 18-20mm thick render coat over walls and a 35-38mm thick render over floor. Take care to check that joints are staggered and corner-covered.
Concrete
Gauge at 1 part cement to 2 part sand and 4 part coarse aggregate or 1 part cement to 1.5 part sand to 3 part coarse aggregate
Limitations and Notes
- Do not use this product for structural concrete.
- It is not intended as a DPC replacement, as it will not withstand permanent hydrostatic pressure.
- For tanking applications, use this product in conjunction with Everbuild DPM.
- This product doesn't repel water. If you're requiring a finish that repels water, coat the surface with Everbuild WaterSeal
